Bucovina SIP did not appear overnight. It is the result of more than a decade of construction experience, painful setbacks and the resolve to do things differently.
My name is Năstasă Robert, and this is the story behind Bucovina SIP.
Over 10 years in construction — the good and the bad
For years I worked as a subcontractor on large construction sites — thermal insulation, plastering, exterior finishes. We grew steadily from 2-3 people to teams of 20-30. We delivered solid projects, but we always depended on the contractors who hired us.
And at some point, I was hit by what hits many construction entrepreneurs: contractors who did not pay us. I was left with debts of hundreds of thousands of euros, unpaid employees and suppliers waiting for their money. I went into insolvency. I lost the company.
It is not a story I tell lightly — but it matters, because everything we do today was born from it. I learned the hard way that in construction, if you depend on others to keep their word, you risk everything.

Two years of rebuilding
Two years followed in which I tried other paths — e-commerce, services, logistics. I learned from each one, but I always came back to construction. It is the only field where I feel at home.
This time, however, I knew one thing for certain: I wanted a product of my own. Something I could control end to end — from production to delivery, with no middlemen and no dependence on anyone else.
The guesthouse that changed everything
In 2024 I had the opportunity to work on my grandmother's house — a 50 m² home that we decided to extend to 240 m² using SIP panels. It was the first major project where I controlled everything, from design to execution.
The results surprised even me. The installation speed, the insulation quality, the controlled costs — everything exceeded expectations. The guesthouse became a living showroom for SIP technology.
Since then, we invite anyone who wants to experience first-hand what it is like to be in a SIP home. It is not about catalogues or simulations — it is about real experience, at real temperatures.

Extending the Suceava guesthouse from 50 m² to 240 m² with SIP panels. The first project controlled end to end, from design to installation. The results exceeded expectations.
The launch of Bucovina SIP
We started out from Suceava with the first orders. Growth came quickly — deliveries across Romania, the first EU exports, a growing team. The Bucovina SIP brand took shape.
The Iași factory
We opened our own factory in Iași — greater capacity, full quality control. My father runs production. It is a family business, not just another company.

Have questions about us?
Yes, we have our own factory in Suceava where we produce SIP panels with OSB3/MgO facings and an EPS 100 core. We comply with all material and process standards, we are members of SIPA International and we provide full traceability for every production batch.
Our process includes: CNC cutting of the facings and the core, preparation of the components, lamination/pressing under controlled pressure, quality control, numbering and labelling of every element, and generation of the assembly documentation with clear parts lists.
We offer complete services: consultancy and land analysis, assistance with the building permit documentation (DTAC) and the urban planning certificate, complete technical documentation, obtaining the building permit, and technical coordination on site. In short, we guide you from the idea to the finished home.
The SIP panel structure is assembled in approximately 5-10 days for a house of ~100 m². The complete completion of the project (including finishes) takes between 60-90 days, depending on the complexity of the project and the weather conditions.
Yes, we cover projects throughout Romania and the European Union. Delivery and assembly are carried out through accredited partners in the destination country. We have already completed over 200 projects in Romania and Europe.
